Mount Baker Highway, Washington
Straight down onto the highway from above. The forest closes in so completely on both sides that the road ends up being the only thing in the frame with a hard edge to it, and everything else reads as texture. One car, which is the only reason any of this has a sense of scale. That whole summer I was driving these roads trying to catch every PNW mountain I could, and somewhere along the way the drives themselves became the thing worth stopping for.
