First Starbucks, Seattle, Washington

The original Starbucks, near the waterfront end of Pike Place, still showing that modest old sign. The line runs out the door and down the block, the coffee is identical to every other Starbucks on earth, and you go anyway — because this is the room where it started. I stood in that line fully aware of how silly it was and enjoyed every minute of it.
