Public Market of Seattle, Washington

The first thing I had to see when I started shooting Seattle was the Public Market. It is a working market that happens to double as a tourist attraction, which is a harder balance to strike than it sounds — food and flower stalls, the catch of the day going over the counter in the fish market, and nine million visitors a year moving through the middle of it. Masks were still required the day I went. I came for the sign and stayed about three hours, and I have gone back more times than I can count since.
